Eczema
/ Hot Spots
Appear as painful, moist inflamed areas of
skin. The animal often self-traumatises iteslf by licking, chewing or scratching
the area.
If not too painful, gently clip & bathe the area with
salt water ( 2 teaspoons salt to 1 pint of water )
Prevent further
interence by the animal e.g. bandage / dressing, buster collar, open faced muzzle,
T shirt , shorts, socks.
