Diarrhoea
& Vomiting
With Diarrhoea & Vomiting,
veterinary examination is usually needed for correct diagnosis.
Starve
for 24 hours ( take extra care with young & elderly animals ). Do give fluids.
Rehydrate with a 'little & often' electrolye solutions e.g. Paediolyte, babylyte
obtainable from pharmacies.
If the animal continues to vomit. veterinary
advice must be sought.
Keep warm & quiet.
After
24 hours starvation, offer small & frequent quantities of chicken & rice
for 3 days, then return to original diet.
